Brief Description: Preping the rear bulkhead to fit the overhead
With the depth of the overhead I made, I needed to modify the upper section of the rear baggage former and upper bulkhead. I basically needed to cut a notch into the upper bulkhead and add material to the former at that station.
When adding material to the former I also cut a 2" hole and installed a bulkhead hose adapter to feed the rear air through. I added a snap bushing to pass wires rearward. The added material is also a doubler for the former since I am cutting a 2" hole in it.
I plan on having 3 GPS antennas installed in the overhead space. One for each EFIS and one for the 650. Once those are installed, I can permanently attach the overhead to the canopy. All of the coax will be routed down the right A pillar with power and control wires down the left.
2 antennas are installed. 1 more to go (but not until I purchase my GTN 650 as the antenna comes with it)
