Brief Description:  Debug and install MP3 Stereo and CO detector

I wanted an MP3 player/Stereo player to add music to the flight. There is no room for a full-size car stereo. After a bit of searching I found several small mp3 players for about $8 each, Crazy cheap. Documentation for the MP3 players is nonexistent, so it has been a process of figuring out what will work. Some have built in amplifiers, some not so much. etc...
Since the player I seem to have figured out is a 5V device, I will need to set up a voltage regulator circuit feed. It’s the same circuit as feeding the heater servos. No problem, I have the parts already.

The MP3 player comes from DX.com at this link:

I still have yet to get the cockpit speaker working, but should have that in hand soon. I had 8-ohm speakers on hand. Checking the specs for the Audio panel shows a 4-ohm required. 2 on order from Digikey.

Cutting the holes on the panel on the mill is quick, accurate easy and done.

Added the step-down voltage regulator. A little trouble shooting was required as the power repeatedly cut out. I determined it was the overheat protection of the IC shutting it down intermittently so an added a heat sink (which I had in hand) to fix that little problem. Connectors and a few mounting screws to finish up.
