Brief Description:  mounted tail strobe

I mounted the tail strobe by drilling two 1 inch holes in the fiberglass fin tip. The light assemblies were first super glued then floxed in place flush to the surface. The electronics were mounted to an aluminum bracket with small snap in posts and then epoxied inside the fin tip. The heavy resistors were fastened near the the walls with a small dab of high temp silicone. With all secure, I added nut plates to the assembly and screwed it into place on the tip of the fin.
I will run the final wires forward at a later date when I hve the rudder off the fuselage to fit up the trim.

For the record, since I have tail and wing strobes, a tail beacon is not required for position lighting. I do like the idea of having a tail strobe whenever starting the engine, and don't typically want all of the strobes going as well. So there it is.
