Brief Description: main power leads and VPX ro insallation
I installed the VPX in the front left bay, just behind the instrument panel. It is placed specifically so that it can be removed from below with 4 screws. That again will be a goal as I mount various boxes is serviceability. I will try to make each removable without drilling out rivets and destroying the future paint job.
I found a hydraulic crimper on Amazon for $40 dollars and couldn't resist. I will say, it made crimping the #2 and #6 wire ring terminals a simple chore. The challenging part was pulling the heavy cable through the previously installed conduit. It worked ok with the straighter of the two runs using a nylon string pulled through with the shop vac.
I also started connecting the pitch trim wires and joy stick. Pics and further details later when completed.
