I purchased and installed the Garmin G3X PFD and MFD 10" touch screens. I need to do a lot of configuration to get the system fully up and operating. First power up it appears the CAN is not working. I will have to spend some quality time checking wiring to see if I made a mistake and crossed one of the nodes or left a wire free that is shorting.
Along with cutting the holes in the panel sections I applied the brushed black aluminum vinyl to complete the panel. It looks pretty good to my eyes.
I have the GTX45R transponder in house now, but have yet to install it. It will go back behind the rear bulkhead on the left wall next to the GTR20 remote radio.
