Brief Description:  fit fwd longerons, ribs, bulkheads and skins

So all of the forward longerons actualy fit quite well. A few ribs and a bulkhead added up to the forward framing. All went reasonably well with a few minor adjustments.

Bending of the front skins went well until one of the vice grip clamps popped of an put a nice dent in the skin .... doh! A little bit of bumping with a steel block and hammer, and will finish out with a little filler. I hate it when that happens. My biggest problem on bending was that the clamps themselves got in the way limiting the twist I could achieve. I qiut at about 55 degrees (instead of 60) in the plans. I turned out fine. When they were fit up they pulled in just fine.

Drilling went well until I drilled WD1002R (upper right firewall weldment). All of the firewall weldment angles were off where they tie to the longerons. I didn't realize at first, and the plans didn't mention forcing them into alignment with clamps before drilling ... I shudda realized....doh! The line of holes marched aft right off the side of the weldment! $55 mistake as I orderd a new part. My first replacement part needed! I wish they were better aligned because pulling them in with clamps introduces bends in the firewall .... we'll see if that matters later on when the forward upper fuselage and cowling comes in. Likely the fitting will adjust for any problems.

So now it all comes apart again for deburring, counter sinking, dimpling and priming. Then the riviting begins.
