Brief Description:  Mid Fuselage bottom skin rivets

Once primed, I reassembled the skins to the rib/bulkhead assembly and stared the riveting process. I am able to reach most of the rivets, gun and bucking bar, without a partner to help. I think there might be a few where help is needed, but only a few.

It took a long time to finish the riviting. I have found that the best proceedure for me is to place the rivet with one hand, set the bucking bar in place, feeling to make sure it is straight and centered. I then pick up the rivet gun, place it carefully centered and give it a zap. I might be slow, but it is much faster than having to drill a bad set out again. I only had a few of those in this group.

This section is heavy and akward enough that I needed some help to move it around. I also ended up with my wife bucking about 20 rivets to finish. She did a great job.
