Brief Description:  Mid Fuselage bottom

The bulkhead subassemblies and ribs are assembled, drilled, disassembled, deburred dimpled or countersunk as required, prepped and primed as usual. All of the ribs and bulkheads are reassembled and riveted together

Once that is all acomplished the skins are added. The material thickness is much greater than empenage and tial feathers. I clecoed every other hole so I could drill everything, move all of the clecos and drill to cover all of the holes. Then once again disassemble, debur, dimple, prep and prime.

I made a mistake on the drilling. I had switched the drill bit from #40 to #30 for a few holes before knocking off for the night. When I started work the next night, I started right in on drilling the #40 skin holes with the #30 bit. Slow on the uptake, I was about 20 holes in before I realized I had the wrong bit in. I thought about using 'oops' rivets for the larger holes, but since it is the bottom of the aircraft and won't show unless you are laying on the ground, I decided to just use #4 rivets.
