I received the CPI2 ignition electronics today. This presents a number of opportunities in finding locations for the install, since no plan was in place for where the pieces should go. The controller, screen read out and back up battery all have their own unique issues.
The controller needs access to fuses on one end of the box. The read out is another addition to the instrument panel that was not planned for and now has no space where I would probably have put it. The back up battery could go nicely on the fire wall, but would rather be in the cabin environment, but again with fuses needs to be reasonable accessible.
I have tentative plans worked out for each and will detail when I actually get to the install.
