I ordered a Performance Airflow bracket kit to mount the mixture and throttle cables. I had worked out a mount that attached to the engine mount, but decided against using it as it would introduce flex and movement of the cables when the engine moved. The Airflow bracket is BEEFY and very nicely machined. All Alodined to match the throttle servo.
The installation was a bit of a chore since the studs had to be changed out for the thicker plate. That turned out fairly easy with two nuts locked together on the stud, then turn it out. Everything is bolted firmly in place and looks solid. Now to re-route the prop cable around the new bracket.
