Brief Description: Install manifold press sensor and wire leeds
I installed the wire leads to the fuel and oil pressure sensors. I had to machine a special mount and fitting for the manifold pressure sensor. The Vans supplied manifold pressure sender is a four wire and the Garmin sensor is 3 wire. The Garmin GEA24 accepts a 3 wire. Since I had both I decided to use the compatible Garmin sensor, but needed a 1/8 inch NPT manifold with mounting tab to make it work. An hour on the mill and a 1/8 NPT tap made a nice fitting.
With the manifold pressure sensor in place and all leads run into the avionics, all I need to do is install the connectors. I have some fire sleeve on order to protect the pass through. I also need to make a close out for the firewall pass through.
