Before I start in on the cowl, I decided to run the wire for the engine sensors. Now I was sure there would be no issues with the routing.
I made up twisted pair leads of yellow and red wires to match the sensors. Cut two wired to length, clamp one end to the table and the other in my safety wire pliers. Twist, then give a pull until you feel a little give setting the twist. I had to purchase a bag of small ring terminations to fit the small screws and rings on the sensor leads.
Once all 12 EGT and CHT leads were attached I started the hated adle clamp and zip tie routing making sure to stay clear of all hot surfaces (exhaust mostly), resist chafing and out of the way for long term maintenance access. I ran out of the proper sized adle clamps before I finished, so while they are on order, it looks like the dreaded cowl is next, sort of.
