Brief Description:  Right tank dis-assembly, debur, dimple and pre-as

I dis-assembled the right tank, and deburred the parts. Dimpling all the parts is repetitive work that needs close attention. It is really easy to punch an extra hole in the skin with the dimpler. Dimpling is complete without any mishaps.

Final assembly with sealant starts with the stiffeners. 14 total pieces installed with 110 grams of sealant. Next come the ribs.

Ribs installed. 50 grams of sealant will complete two ribs. I butter the edges, insert into place and cleco every 4th hole, then rivet. Once the rivets are complete, I clean the outer skin, then go back and tool the sealant into every crevice and cover every rivet head. It takes about 30-45 min to install each rib.

With the installation of the J channel, tank attach bracket, drain boss and inboard aft rib half the tank is as far as I can go before installing the fuel level senders. They came in from Vans yesterday.
