Brief Description:  electrical content, layout and switches

I have been struggling to wrap my mind around the detailed electrical and finially worked it out. I am counting this piece of time towards the build since it was directly on the build rather than general education.
This is how I worked it out in a short version:

1. The first thing was to list every device that will use power.
2. Then I grouped by function, specifically grouping them by critical need.
3. I then assigned each group to a VPX switchable input (ten possible plus battery direct and VPX function direct.)
4. Each grouping assigned to each VPX switch input will create a virtual sub-buss
5. I split critical functions between the two independant VPX power busses. (a and b)
6. I assigned a location and switch type to each power pin (VPX pro has about 27 power pins assigned to one of 10 switch inputs).
7. I located and ordered a total of 37 switches foe each discrete powered item.

Still working the finer details.

The first pic is of the switches I have chosen. One of my pet peeves is finding unlighted switches in a dark plane at night. The switches have a LED in the tip that will change from red to green when switched (or vise versa). They are wired directly to 12V supply with a 625 ohm resister and a 5K linier pot in series making them dimmable. They are series M2100 ordered from DigiKey.

The second pic is of one of the sub-buss/fuse holders that will be used for the powered items that will not have a discrete VPX power pin. By bending over and soldering one side all fuses can be fed with one input from the VPX. This way any VPX output power pin can be sub fused into as many feeds as needed. (ordered from here: http://www.summitracing.com/search/brand/hella/product-line/hella-splash-proof-fuse-blocks?autoview=SKU&ibanner=SREPD5 )
The tall fuse is actually a circut breaked that fits automotive mini fuse holders. ( from here: http://www.digikey.com/product-search/en?FV=fff4000a,fff80043,ffec49af ) series 1620. They remain off as long as the fault remains, but one version resets when th
