Brief Description:  rear seats and IP thoughts

I finished riveting the front upper fusalage and moved on to the last section of aluminum assembly I can do before all of the system work is done. The seats are quick to assemble with mostly drilling and cutting. I will take them back apart, debur, clean and prime in the next few days.

I have been reading up on electrical and avionics, trying to get a feel for what I want. I printed out a set of Garmin instruments to near actual size and tryed various arrangements. I will likely look at other avionics suppliers as well before I make my final choice.

I will start gathering the pieces for the primary system architecture over the next weeks. So far I plan on using the VPX, a main and smaller back up alternator, a main and an esentials buss. I would like to stick with one battery assuming I the EFIS I choose has internal back up. If not, perhaps a small back up battery.
My aircraft mission could be best described as light IFR. The RV-10 is intended to be a traveling machine, but with a retiree's flexable schedule when it comes to weather.
