Brief Description:  more fuel installation

I have decided to go with a fuel injected engine as noted earlier. I am also sticking with the Van's recomendations for pump and filter. I read a lot of write ups that like to take issue with the Van's recomendations, I plan to go with Van'a voice of experience.

After lining up the filter and pump assembly and red box with minimum length tubes (two flares, two nuts and enough length to clamp for flaring) the length is a little long for the area available. The end under the valve requires the tube to turn rearward and then loop forward. The tube in the front requires an 'S' to miss the heater 'T'.

It took 4 trys to get all of the bends, nuts and flares to work on the valve end. I am trying to keep the center under the valve open to run the rear heater tube through. Now that I got it, I don't like the result and plan on replacing the AN adapter on the bottom of the valve with a 90 degree fitting to shorten the vertical requirement, and a new piece of tubing. That should open the area under the valve for the heater tubing. Pics to come. Pics done

Doh! .... I ordered the AN 90 degree fitting and ordered it in steel instead of aluminum. I'll have to catch it on the next order.
