Brief Description:  Fuel lines

Well, looking at what next I selected the fuel lines. I looked at going to an Andair Fuel Selector valve. I really like the look of the valve, but honestly $650 just so it will look cool and do exactly the same thing as the valve I already paid for in the kit. I am sure I will have better things to throw the money at..... Well, since I plan on going fuel injected on the engine, that $650 can go for a boost pump, filter, check valve assembly. All on order. I went with the Vans recomended combination including the 'red cube' fuel transducer from Dynon.

I will not be putting in a return line as the Vans boost pump apparently no longer requires one. Not sure how that works unless there is a variable volume feature in the pump now. We'll see when it gets here.

the cutting, flaring, bending went well. Everything from the wing root to the valve is installed. When flaring the tube, a drop of light oil gives a near mirror finish on the flare. Once again, I will need to put everything under pressure to make sure there are no leaks, but my confidence is high.

I slipped the left rear seat floor into position to match drill. Using a very clean sharp putty knife I was able to coax it past the seatbelt anchors on each side. Clecoing took some effort with my alignment tool (a long straight pick) to get the ribs ligned up and in position. Getting this back out to deburr and prime will be a challange.
