I decided to move ahead with the tailcone join today. With a little careful blocking, I got both pieces lined up and pulled them together. Using a long needle scriber to line up all of the layers everything came together and the clecos snaped into place. This thing is really big!
Once the join is match drilled and taken back apart, I have a number of things to install before the final join and riveting. It is much easier to get at the inside of the tailcone and baggage area while the two are seperated for various bits and pieces.
