2 plies of BID cloth were cut @ 45 degrees orientation. 1 horizontal ply of UND was cut. Peel ply and wax paper were cut.
The workshop temperature was 80 degrees F and the humidity was 59 %.
I have started wearing an organic vapour mask (home depot) and double blue nitrile gloves. I'm going to order some butyl gloves with my next aircraft spruce order. I haven't had any reaction to the epoxy but Larry Hill suggested that I should increase my protection so that I don't develop an allergic reaction and from reading various website postings a half mask and butyl gloves with cotton gloves underneath and latex or nitrile gloves over top seems to work well.
I squeegeed micro on the aft face of the f28 foam piece then layed up 2 plies of BID and scissor trimmed then 1 horizontal ply of UND and scissor trimmed. I layed a layer of peel ply over the glass layup then I put wax paper on top of the peel ply and added bricks for weight. With this setup I won't be able to do a knife trim so I'll try a hacksaw blade or band saw after the layup cures.
