Brief Description: Layup aft sides of landing gear bulkheads
Micro slurry was applied to the foam surface of the aft bulkhead and epoxy was applied to the hardpoints. 2 plies of BID was applied overall and 2 plies of UND was applied across the horizontal. 3 plies of UND was applied to the left side as per the drawing and 3 plies of UND was applied to the right side as per the drawing. Peel ply was applied over the entire layup.
The bottom half of the forward landing gear bulkhead was glassed next. Micro slurry was applied to the foam surface and epoxy was applied to the hardpoints. 2 plies of BID was applied overall and 1 ply of UND was applied across the horizontal. Peel ply was applied over the entire layup.
Lastly, the top half of the forward landing gear bulkhead was glassed. Micro slurry was applied to the foam surface and epoxy was applied to the hardpoints. 2 plies of BID was applied overall and 1 ply of UND was applied across the horizontal. Peel ply was applied over the entire layup.
Wax paper, wood, and bricks were added to each of the three layups.
