An electric handsaw was used to trim the cable tray sides of the stiffners to slightly more than 1/4". I'll wait to sand the entire piece after yesterday's repairs have time to fully cure.
I used a small electric sander on the aft face ( the side of the instrument panel facing the pilot) to reduce the excess glass so that hand sanding with a fine sanding block will be easier.
