Brief Description:  Instrument Panel Stiffners Bottom Bid Layup

Shop temperature was 80deg F and humidity was 40%.

Dry micro was applied to the corners of the horizontal and vertical stiffners.

Dry micro was also applied to any areas of the foam or existing composite where it was bumpy, prior to glassing.

Two layers of BID cloth was applied to both horizontal stiffners and both vertical stiffners.

Wax paper and light weights (wood or foam) was applied to the 1/4" conduit to ensure the lip was bent as required.

Lessons learned:
a) even though the instructions didn't specify, it is imperative that the BID cloth is cut at 45deg to ensure the cloth bends over for the 1/4" conduit to take shape.
b) wherever BID is to be bent 90deg, the foam underneath the 90deg bend should first be sanded with a radius.
