Traveled to Cushing Oklahoma to get my transition training done with Earl Downs at Golden Age Aviation. Earl has a Zenith 601XL he built a couple of years back and has FAA certification for transition training in the 601. We flew a total of 5 flights for a total of 5 hours of training. Earl has a long and impressive history of flying and instructed me in all the different maneuvers you could possibly imagine forthte 601. After all the things we covered in the air and on the ground, I know I can get in my plane and know I am ready to fly it safely.
