Mel Asberry (Kitplanes-Ask the DAR), came out to my hangar today and performed the airworthiness inspection. The whole process took about 3 hours. Both of us are old Air Force members so we did take some time to trade war stories. His wife also came and she also put a keen eye on the plane. All in all everything went well. No major discrepancies. He did make a couple of suggestions which I will consider. Mel and his wife make a great team and he has years and years of flying experience to go allong with his inspectional savy. I am glod he was available to inspect my plane. Thanks Mel!
