I had to wait to get some more crimping sleeves before I could redo the elevator cables. The original cables ended up being a little too long. I have now got the cables installed and tensioned to the 40# listed in the plans. Since these are just above the bottom opening on the plane I figuired they would be easy to safety wire. Well, I cannot really say they were easy but I can say they are done. Because they are so close to each other, getting the safety wire around the turnbuckles and keeping it pulled tight is no easy task. But I got both of them done and they look okay. Next will be the aileron turnbuckes and because of there proximity to the control stop, they will also present a challenge.
