Brief Description: Problem with aileron turnbuckles
My last posting was about the aileron turnbuckles rubbing on the control stops. I decided this was not going to work as seen in photo 1, so I cut off the bottom part of the torque tube tong and will extend it down by bolting another piece of metal the the existing tong. I have ordered the materials to accomplish this, so once I get them and fabricate part, I will show final results. And cutting the bottom off of the torque tube tong was no easy task! I also my need to make new elevator cables to get full up elevator.
