I did not like the way the blue supply hose went thru the firewall to the fuel pumps. One reason was the blue hose needs to have at least a 4" bending radius and I do not think there was enough room to make this right. Also since I am using the Andair selector valve which is mounted in the center console, I need the hose to be higher up inside the cockpit to connect to the valve. So I decided I would run the hose supply line up the firewall before it entered the cockpit. Also since the blue hose is 1/2" and all my fittings and connectrion are AN6 (3/8), I decided to use a 1/2"barbed end to AN6 adaptor on the exterior of the firewall instead of reducing it down on the inside of the cockpit. I am trying to minimize the number of fuel hose fittings inside the cockpit. It all worked as planned. I will use the same technique on the return line except it is already an AN6 hose so no adaptors will be needed.
