Brief Description:  Connect wiring to ELT

Finished up work on ELT today. All that wss left to do was to make the DB15 connector by cutting 8 wires and crimping them onto the pins. Once this was done, I inserted them into the connector, put on the cover and bolted it all together. Took connector to ELT and spliced all wires to existing wires running back from remote switch and from Dynon EFIS serial port. This will let the EFIS pass along the GPS data to the ELT thereby giving out more accurate location data. Once all the wires were connected, I used wire iie bases to secure all hte wiring. This includes the wiring from the remote switch, wiring from the EFIS, wiring from the antenna and wiring from the audible buzzer which will sound anytime the ELT is activated. The buzzer is shown at the center top of the photo. Now if I only had my Dynon ADS-B, I would be finished with all avionics. I also have been doing configuration on the EFIS and I am just about complete until I can install my ADS-B. Getting close to time to move to hangar!
