Brief Description:  Battery shelf and fuel pumps

Still raining so I decided to start work on putting pieces on the firewall. Rirst was the battery shelf. Measured, drilled holes, deburred and riveted with A5 SST rivets. Installed master solenoid with same process and 2 AN5 bolts. Then started on fuel pumps and filters. Followed instructions in video and photo assembly guide. Only hard part on this was trying to figuire out which parts were the right ones to use. The parts supplied by UL Power are not do not have any part numbers on the bags they come in so you have to be careful which bag of hardware parts you pick. It is also somewhat confusing on who is suppose to supply which parts. Zenith supplies the FWF kit and UL Power supplies engine but they also have parts for installing on the firewall. Also in the video, it shows SST braided hoses are supplied for fuel and oil lines. Zenith did supply some preassembled hoses which will make things go faster and easier, but they also supplied barbed fittings and rubber hoses instead of the SST braided hoses and AN fittings shown in the video. I guess this is to save some money but I will be using SST braided hoses and AN fittings for all lines forward of the firewall. Maybe Zenith has an option for this and I just did not know to ask.
