Brief Description: Installed bolts in HT and repositioned airplane
I had already rivetted the HT mounting brackets but had not installed the bolts so I took care of this today. I removed the rear top skin to make this somewhat easier to do. It still takes some work to get wrench in right location to tighten nuts. Torqued nuts to specs and applied torque seal. Today was a first for the airplane. Since I need more room to work on the canopy, I decided to reposition the fuselage. So I rolled it out, turned it around and rolled it back in. Ended up being easier than i thought it was going to be.
Bolts installed on HT on both sides and torque sealed
