This seemed like something that could be done in an hour or so. But to my surprise, it ended up taking the better part of my day!!!!! Getting all the angles measured turned out to be somewhat challenging for the rudder and the elevator. Then since the saddle is the upper elevator stop, this took some work/time as well. Also dont forget that the rudder will most likely come in contact with the elevator skin when the rudder is at max deflection so you will also need to trim the elevator skin to get the clearance you need. All in all I am satisfied with the way it turned out. Was hoping it would not have taken this long but at least it is done and I can move on to finishing the right wing.
