Was able to get some free time and worked on the plane for 3 hours, worked on the top skin, deburred, dimpled primed the contact area. Clecoed the skin to the ribs but again some clecoes do not hold properly and pop out ????Checked the Vans air force Forum and its probably a case of too much deburring, read that a few other builders had this problem and the rivets will be ok. One guy had to use 3/32 washers on the cleco to hold it tight while he riveted. I guess this is what I'll do.CHECKED FURTHER AND ORDERED NEW CLECOES AND YUP I HAD ORDERED CHEAP ONES FROM SPRUCE AND THEY ARE THE ONES NOT HOLDING. GOT 250 MORE FROM AVERY AND THEY ATRE PERFECT
