Brief Description:  Center Console Nut Plates 1

Began adding nut plates to the center console framework so that the side panels will remain removable. Today's focus was on the right side. This involved updrilling the existing pilot holes on the sides of the center panel (5 on the right), the top rail (2 more) and the floor bracket (4 more) for a total of 11 nutplates. Once the holes were up drilled, I clamped the nut plate in place and drilled out the wing holes on the two side flanges of each nut plate. After some deburring, filing and sanding, I then riveted the 11 nutplates to their respective holes.
