Brief Description: Left Forward Cockpit Skin Reinforcements
Started out by updrilling the baggage floor to final rivet size to recover some pilot hole-sized clecoes.
Next I moved to the left forward cockpit area to install several L-angles designed to stiffen the curved skin near the firewall area. First step was to creat a curved L-angle, by crimping one side of the angle, to run from the Upper Longeron down to the Heel Support on the cabin floor. After setting the curve using crimpers, I match-drilled the L-angle into the side skin. Next, I measured, cut, fit, and drilled out each of 3 horizontal L-angles that connect the vertical curved L-angle I previously formed and the firewall flange.
Seat back to the left - firewall to the right - new reinforcements near the firewall.
