Spent a few hours yesterday and today polishing the stabilizer. As a relatively large and symmetrical piece, it was easy to "stabilize" on the table so the polishing went pretty fast. After 3 passes with Nuvite Nushine II Grade F9 cutting polish, I felt it was time to graduate to Grade C. The last two images below show the results. I was only able to polish 1/3rd of the stab with Grace C before work, but I should finish up tomorrow morning and flip the stab over to do the other side.
Stab top side after three passes with Nushine II F9 Grade.
The far end has one pass with C Grade - good enought for now.
Here's the obligatory self-portrait: 3 passes with F9, and one pass with C.
