I finished off the electrical portion of the elevator today. The process was straightforward although new to me. First, I fed the provided electrical cable through the gommeted hole in the leading edge of the elevator. Next, I stripped the 5 individual wires in the cable and determined which colors corresponded to the existing wires on the servo. I spliced the wires together using solder and individually heat-shrunk each splice (image 1). Finally, I sealed the entire splice with heatshrink (image 2). A test in my lab environment (image 3) helped me adjust the servo pushrod to its final length by making a couple of turns on the aft push rod clevis, and it's all good for now.
