Brief Description:  Deburr, Delabeling

This morning I:

1. Finished drilling out a few pilot holes to their final size.
2. Made sure I had annotated where all the pieces and parts fit together with my trusty Sharpie (you really can't write on this stuff too much since it'll be hidden by the skin of the airplane).
3. Unfastened all 100 or so cleco fasteners.
4. Deburred all of the several hundred rivet holes (to be fair, I deburred many of them before first assembly since many of the holes had already been drilled by Zenith).
5. Soaked off all the factory-applied parts labels using paint thinner (NOW you see the importance of step #2. Sharpie is highly resistent to paint thinner).
6. Wiped down all the parts with Sharpie-proof solvent to make sure they're clean and ready for the anti-corrosion application.

... which will be applied upstairs in the garage so we don't have a repeat of last week's painting-in-the-basement-next-to-the-running-furnace-which-carried-the-smell-through-the-whole-house event. This new rule was instituted by the project's senior engineer, with whom I live, so I will comply.
