Broke the ice and jumped in on this project this morning before going to work. Followed the steps in the assembly manual and managed to get it all drilled before heading out. My plan is to spend a couple hours on the plane before work 2-4 days each week and one weekend morning.
It was pretty daunting to get started. I've dreamed of doing this for a very long time, but it was a bit overwhelming to make those first cuts and drill those first holes. Hopefully this becomes more commonplace as experience is gained.
Layed out all the parts, scribbled a few notes on them, figured out their alignment, etc.
