Performed some final prep on the aft spars of both wings in preparation for their final installation. The primary task was to drill a pilot hole through the aft spar. While simple in principle, this task is complicated by the wing already being installed with the only access to the aft spar being through a 2" diameter semi-circle. Luckily, I have my trusty Tight-Fit drill attachment (Image 1). So, lying on my back, on a garage creeper, headlamp on my forehead, peering up through the small opening with my fingers blocking most of the opening, I marked, then drilled a pilot hole through the aft spar of each wing.
I also performed a quick rigging task by assembling and installing the two rudder horn turnbuckles.
Tight-Fit drill attachment. A life saver many times during the aircraft build.
Left rudder turnbuckle installed (and its reflection in the skin).
