Brief Description:  Re-re-re-measuring Nose Ribs.

I flew in the morning, but spent a little time after work re-checking the nose rib positioning and depth. When I installed them the first time, I didn't account for the thickness of the spar at nose rib #1 resulting in a rivet line too close to the top edge of the nose skin near the inboard portions of the wing.

This time I cut a length of non-stretch ribbon and marked it precisely the full width of the nose skin (818mm, 407mm on top and 411mm on the bottom) and marked a second line at each end 10mm in from the fill width, representing the desired rivet line. I then clamped each nose rib into position and checked the ribbon to see if the rivet lines were going to match the existing rivet line in the top and bottom skins. The #1 and #3 ribs were both still too long in the web requiring an additional 2-3mm be removed over what is listed in the plans. Hopefully this will do the trick.
