Brief Description:  Left Wing Rear Bottom Skin

Spent a few minutes leveling the now-inverted left wing by shimming the support blocks that hold the wing off the table. Like before, this involves leveling the wing spanwise as well as fore and aft.

Next, I placed the rear bottom skin on top of the ribs and spars. A side note here: When I previously fetched the top skin from basement storage, I did this by mysef. I found maneuvering a 12-foot-long piece of flexible aluminum skin through a dining room and kitchen is a pretty tough job for one person. For the bottom skin, I teamed with my wife and the previous 15 minute job turned into a 3 minute job. Lesson learned.

Aligning the bottom skin to the skeleton was much easier since all the ribs are already set in place from the top skin so there was very little nudging/adjusting required for the job. I clamped the skin in place and started drilling and clecoing it to the ribs. While it's somewhat tedious drilling all those holes, the job progressed pretty quickly and the whole skin is now drilled out with pilot holes.
