Brief Description:  Cross Braces

Finished up the cross brace L angles that stiffen the upper skin between the wing ribs and updrilled them to their final A4 rivet size. Also added in the 2 upper skin cross braces that help reinforce the bellcrank support channel on the inboard side of rear rib #7.

Next I flipped the left wing over so the bottom side became the top. While that sounds easy enough, it took some thought to accomplish this by myself without crushing a few clecoes along the way. I duct taped three support blocks, which were fabricated as described in the plans, to the upper main spar which prevented the clecos from touching the table as I rolled the wing over. As the trailing edge neared the table, I propped it up with three more support blocks to finish the job.

The next time I flip the wing,I'm going to try something more stable and controlled.
