Brief Description:  Rear Top Skin, Cross Braces

Finished pilot drilling the top rear skin to the rear ribs. My acute shortage of pilot hole-sized clecoes required me to updrill the front flanges of the rear ribs to A5 in order to cannibalize those pilot-sized clecos. I also updrilled the aft portion of the top rear skin to A4 in order to gain a few more pilot-sized clecoes. The rest of the drill out went uneventfully. My newly ordered clecoes should be arriving on Monday.

After drilling out all the rear rib holes, I tipped the wing up to place the main spar face down. This allowed me to inspect the holes I drilled into the ribs (all nicely centered!) and begin driling out the spanwise L angles that will help stiffen the wing skin between the ribs. Fitting these L's is pretty easy work:

- A quick measure off of the plans
- tin snips to cut them
- carefully label each one (fore, aft, IB, OB)
- draw a center line down the attachment side of each L angle
- carefully duct tape them in line with the pre-drilled pilot holes in the skin
- mark the L through the pilot holes with a sharpie
- remove the L
- drill out the marked holes along the previously marked center line
- reattach with clecoes.

I finished 2 of them in about 10 minutes before I had to head off on a trip.
