Today I sorted through the wing components to label and separate them into their respective wing. I determined top/bottom/front/rear/inboard/outboard of all the parts and labeled them if any of those descriptives weren't obvious. The wing spar got special attention as it seems easy to forget the top and bottom without a brief glance at the plans. Now I only need to glance at my big, sharpie-drawn clues all over it.
There are:
- Two spars, left and right - 18 rear ribs, numbered 1-9 left and right. - 14 nose ribs, numbered 1-7 left and right - 2 spar tips - 2 inboard rear channels (back of the wing where the flaps go) - 2 outboard rear channels (back of the wing where the ailerons go) - several hardware pieces for strengthening the wings and the aileron bellcrank
I discovered that 5 pieces (per wing) of the bellcrank assembly appear to be missing (not on my invoice) and I've sent a query in to the factory to see if I can get those delivered.
