Started on the right aileron. Assembly went much faster than the left aileron - all that practice must be paying off. Drilled out and clecoed the ribs to the face of the aileron, then the top skin, then the bottom skin - all was routine. I also added in the two balance bar ribs (4 and 5) which are measured off of rib number 3's position. Using a Dremel, I fabricated a 22mm x 22mm hole in the face of the aileron between the two balance bar ribs where the balance bar will extend forward into the wing. I also fabricated and fit an L angle along the top face of the aileron in preparation for adding a piano hinge to it. Finally, I fabricated the aileron horn out of a plain, rectangular piece of .05 aluminum. Everything went quickly and smoothly.
