With temperatures back on the rise, I took time for an easy task: Replacing the Dynon Skyview GPS with a Dynon GPS that's certified for ADS-B Out - an FAA requirement I need to meet by Jan 2020. The task was a no brainer thanks to Dynon's foresight. It's a simple remove-and-replace job with four matching wire splices. After that, the new GPS becomes fully compatible after a few setting are changed in the Dynon software.
