Brief Description:  Post Engine Run Cleanup

Spent a couple of hours cleaning up after the first engine run. I calibrated the engine tachometer and fuel flow indicators in Skyview to account for the peculiarities of the ULPower 350iS. I also solved the mystery regarding the rough engine run I got during the test on the right magneto. Turns out I had the 2nd and 4th cylinder spark plug wires reversed on that side. Face palm! I even had the spark plug wires clearly lableled. Now they're even more clearly labeled!

I also trimmed up the main spar opening on the right wing side of the plane. It turns out during our fitting attempts last session, the wing spar could not be raised high enough to align the pre-drilled holes due to excess fuselage skin blocking the opening. So, with some careful dremeling, filing, and sanding, the opening is now extended to the top of the main spar. The picture below shows the Left spar, which also needed trimming.
