Brief Description: Replaced Battery and Main Solenoid
While updating some wire pathing in the engine bay, I temporarily removed the wiring between the master solenoid and the starter/electronics power pack in the cockpit. When I was all finished, I wired everything back together, but wasn't careful in how I aligned/secured the solenoid attachments. Unfortunately, one of the ring connectors was bent enough to touch (or nearly touch) the solenoid housing resulting in an arc, some smoke (!) and a warped battery housing. Luckily, the total damage was just the battery and solenoid so I spent a day replacing them both and double checking for proper installation.
