Double checked the elevator movement and relative stick positioning in anticipation of cutting the control cables to final length. The challenge is 3 fold: First, the elevator must achieve 30 degrees upward angle (+/- 5 degrees). Second, the full aft stick cannot go too far aft or it will interfere with one of the wing center spar upright shims. Third, if the stick is allowed to go too far forward before hitting the lower elevator stops in the tail, the stick could hit the center console ... right in the area of the ignition switch and the ECU toggle!
Through a combination of adjusting the cable lengths and turnbuckles (all this prior to swaging) I was able to stike a balance point.
