Brief Description:  Brake Lines Rerouted

Rerouted the left and right brake lines to avoid interference with the rudder control cables and the elevator horn portion of the control stick. I had initially routed the brake lines below the rudder pedals with the intention of securing the lines along the floor underneath the seats. Unfortunately, the lines ended up touching the rudder cables in that configuration, so I rerouted the brake lines to be secured along the under side of the seat, above the rudder cables.

To accomplish this task, I pulled the rudder control cables from where they exit the aircraft by the tail (they had not been secured to the rudder horn permanently yet) through the fuselage and rerouted them both underneath the brake lines. To feed the two rudder cables back out the aft end of the fuselage, a location wholly inaccessible from the inside, I removed the rudder cable fairings and fed some extra cable through the exit point and pushed it far enough in where I could reach it from inside the fuselage. I then attached the two ends together (Gorilla tape), pulled the rudder cable through the aft opening, and re-riveted the rudder fairings back in place. I figure this was easier and less messy than draining, disconnecting, rerouting, reconnecting, refilling and bleeding my brake lines to acommoplish the same thing!
